Rotor-Stator-Systems - Homogenisers
Deliberately shear intensive
mixing
High speed rotor-stator systems are used
for the dispersing process.
The product is being sucked axial into the dispersing head, reversed
by 90 degrees and transported through the slits of the rotors, which
rotates at very high revolutions. The fixed stator also has slits, through
which the product is being pumped towards the homogeniser exit. In this
process the mixing product is exposed to a very high shearing and thrust
strain.
The Homogeniser
HI 35 represents the smallest construction size.
The advantage of rotor-stator-systems which are mounted on the
outside of the bowl to those systems inside the bowl is, that
the contents of the bowl can be re-circulated in a defined way.
Furthermore, there are no disturbances by additional installations
in the bowl. |

| The Inline-Homogeniser
HI 115 has a throughput capacity of approx. 15.000
ltrs./hour (related to water). It is mounted on an integrated
support thus allowing connections to bowls of varying sizes. |

|
| The middle
drop diameter is generally considerably reduced already
after the first homogeniser throughput. Extensive tests haven
proven that normally five throughputs are sufficient. |
